Chainsaw Carving

Our 27th Annual Chainsaw Carving Championship features the best competitive carvers in the Nation. This is an International Invite Only Chainsaw carving showcase that has daylong events starting at 8am to 5pm there are a couple of intermissions one for Lunch and the other is the Quick Carve. The Carvers have about 21 hours to work on and finish there master carvings. On the last day of the event the carvers go around and vote on the Master carving that they think is the best in show. Also on the last day there is the People Choice award that is sponsored by Peoples Bank, for this one every one is encouraged to attend and cast there vote for best carving, this voting also happens on the last day and closes at 1pm. Then we have a judging by a pannel of judges that do not know the resualts of the Carvers or Peoples Choice and they go and cretick the carvings and we have an award from this down to 5th place.  The carvers also have some of there work that they have worked on out side of the Loggerodeo for viewing and sale. Quick Carve

The Quick Carve Competition is a one hour fifteen min head to head fast paced competition. The carvers can make up to 2 carvings in this 1 hour and 15 minutes and at the end all items are bought to the stage and an auction is held every day at 5pm except for the last day it is held at 3:15pm. Bidder numbers can be obtained at the right of the stage where the Loggerodeo™ apparel is sold and are good for the entire event. At the end of the festivities the is an award for the carver that made the most during the Quick Carve auctions. There has been some awesome works of art created during this time.
